When Shiloh committed to a District Youth Camp as an outreach ministry in the 1950s, a dormitory dining hall and recreation building were constructed. Charles and Mae Upchurch were the dining hall hosts during the annual camp meeting in the 1950s. The building was dedicated to their memory in 1962. In 2005, extensive renovation was done to the downstairs dining area and restrooms. Funds for the renovation were provided from the estate of Walker and Kathleen (Steed) Hunt. The dining hall suffered significant tornado damage in February, 2008. The upstairs dorm area required a complete renovation and new furniture. The dormitory dining hall has housed hundreds of campers over the past 60+ years.
